Tirana et l'urbanisation de l'Albanie

Urban growth rate in Albania is a very reasonable one. However there are numerous new towns, owing to the gathering of the agricultural exploitations, to the opening of mining and industrial centers, to the development of the transport network. As for the older towns, some of them (Korça, Shkodra) are slowly growing but others like Elbasan, Durres, Vora and especially Tirana increase fastly.L'Albanie se caractérise par une croissance urbaine très modérée. Pourtant un réseau urbain s'est mis en place, en liaison avec le regroupement des exploitations agricoles, l'activité minière et industrielle, le développement dun nouveau réseau de transport. Quant aux villes plus anciennes, si certaines (Shkodra, Korça) croissent lentement, d'autres comme Elbasan, Durres, Vora, et surtout Tirana, progressent très vite.Sivignon Michel.
