The developed Intelligent Blind contains several innovative solutions. The integrated sensors and control unit make an individually controlled blind possible. By means of the five light sensors and the actual radio time the blind computes its own alignment to the cardinal points. So the automatic control achieves an optimal heat protection and transparency every time. Additionally the automatic control will adapt to the user's hand adjustments. So the behaviour of the blind will approach the desired behaviour slowly and inconspicuously. A prototype was shown at the industrial sector fair "R-T2000" in February and won an innovation award.
