A study on 3R all-optical signal regeneration was presented. Architecture for 3 R regeneration, re-timing and reshaping based on nonlinear optical gate was presented. Semiconductor devices including lasers, saturable absorbers and interferometers for decision, optical clock recovery were discussed. Test and assembly of 3R circuits and high speed 3R regeneration was also presented
