The wireless data communication and power transmission between a sensor system and a base station are examined in this Ph.D. thesis. The total system is called a RFIDS-system (Radio Frequency IDentification Sensor). Microelectronic circuits for wireless data communication and power transmission has been developed in this thesis. The main attention is paid to so called passive RFIDS-systems. These receive their power supply from the RF-carrier, so they do not have to use an additional source of energy. The investigation includes all classical transmission modes that are known from the telecommunication, and the development of circuits for low power supply dissipation.
