With increasing market shares of processing technologies for long fiber reinforced thermoplastics in the automotive industry simulation of such parts becomes increasingly important. New material systems and structures like locally fabric reinforced parts are going to be used. Thus the development of appropriate material models and their implementation in FEA is a very important step for the future application of such materials and structures.
