In the literature of the end of the XIXth Century, a mythology of rupture and the daim to influence as creative dynamics coexist. This paper is based upon the study of an article of Remy de Gourmont Stephane Mallarmé et l'idée de décadence, and it analyses the birth of the concept of source anormale in the discours of critic.
