Benutzerverwaltung und Client eines legalen Filesharingsystems

P2P Systems have a high relevance for the distribution of digital contents over the Internet. Often the distribution is associated with the download of illegal copies. P2P Systems offer advantages over the client/server architecture that can not be neglect. The advantages are a better load balancing, scalability, avoidance of a single point of failure and that the provision of the resources are shifted to the users. A legal distribution of content should control the distribution of content and not the use of the content. The identification of content is performed using perceptual hashes. The goal of this diploma thesis is the implementation of the user administration and the client application for a legal filesharing system. A user is identifiable by a registration. Users are reponsible for their actions within the P2P system. The client gives the user a feedback for all his actions using a graphical user interface. The client comprises an observer for the local repository containing the local contents. New and removed content is recognized and controlled by perceptual hashes
