Recent immigration and the Italian labour market Alessandra VENTURINI The objective of this paper is to analyse the effects of recent immigration, from developing countries, to the Italian labour market. The presentation is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the phenomenon at the aggregate level. An interpretation of the effects of recent immigration into the labour market is presented, which brings into evidence the expansion of the underground economy. Stated the conditions of the labour market of countries of departure of migratory flows it will be difficult to see any reduction of the segmentation of the labour market in the countries of arrival. The second part is a closer analysis of the Italian case with special attention to the new laws and the migratory policy of the country.Immigrazione e mercato del lavoro in Italia Alessandra VENTURINI Questo lavoro analizza il ruolo svolto dalle recenti immigrazioni nel mercato del lavoro italiano. La ricerca puo'essere divisa in due parti. La prima parte analizza il fenomeno a livello aggregato e cerca di fornire un'interpretazione dei suoi effetti tenedo presente la segmentazione del mercato del lavoro : regolare ed irregolare. Date le condizioni dei mercati del lavoro dei paesi di partenza, tale andamento non potra' che accentuarsi ricreando una separazione tra i lavoratori. La seconda parte analizza un po 'piu ' da vicino le dinamiche del fenomeno italiano per soffermarsi sulla normativa e sulla politica migratoria adottata dal paese.L'immigration récente et le marché de l'emploi en Italie Alessandra VENTURINI Le propos de cet article est d'analyser les effets de la récente immigration des pays développés sur le marché du travail italien. Cette observation comprend deux parties : la première concerne le phénomène dans son ensemble. On y présente notamment une interprétation des effets de cette immigration récente sur le marché du travail, d'où il ressort l'existence et le développement d'une économie parallèle. Une fois établie les conditions du marché du travail des pays de départ, on montre la difficulté à prévoir une diminution de la segmentation du marché de l'emploi dans le pays d'arrivée.
