Inflation, wages and income distribution In manufacturing industry (France, 1969-1976) Christian Morrisson From the accounts of 2147 firms (22% of industry production and wage-earners) it is explained how both economic conjoncture and socio-political environment account for added-value distribution and distribution between wages and net profits. The proposed model shows that nominal wages variations depend in big firms on consumer prices growth and socio-political environment whereas in smaller firms it is related to this growth and increase in labor productivity.
