Social classes and return to higher education An analysis of the effective monetary return to higher education points ont the differences on that ground between social classes. Apart from thé usual private rates of return, we define a class rate which takes into account the probability of scolarisation in higher education as well as the contribution of the concerned social class to the public financing of the higher education System.
