Laser vibrometer are used to study Lamb wave propagation in plate structures. Sound fields are visualized as intensity and snapshoot images. It is demonstrated, that the sound beam can be directed into areas of interest and focused. The role of Lamb wave dispersion in focusing is visualized and discussed
