Societal impact of youth resilience programmes and community engagement programmes aiming at radicalization prevention : ambition, theory and practice

In the past decennium, youth resilience and empowerment programmes gained policy interest on national and international levels also due to the societal developments regarding radicalization leading to violent extremism. The policy ambitions with that respect on national and international level find their way into action plans, strategies and the security agendas. But what are the societal impacts of these initiatives and programmes for the different stakeholders?
