In 2008 within a radius of 300 km around Vienna eleven assembly plants will produce more than three million cars. The outcome of this is a business potential for suppliers of about 20 billion euros within the AREE. To participate in this boom, a local production factory close to the customers can be a key advantage for suppliers. Supplier Parks are an alternative to the high risk option of building a separate factory. A Supplier Park reduces the suppliers' overall investment and operating costs because of synergy effects
