Desgrées du Loû (Annabel).- Reproductive health and AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa: problems and prospects The AIDS epidemic and the associated prevention campaigns have profoundly modified the relationships between sexuality, contraception and procreation in the developing countries. Based on a survey of the literature on the subject, this article gives a synthesis of the state of knowledge and research about the impact of the epidemic on reproductive health in the countries of Sub-Saharan Africa, and the lessons to be drawn for the elaboration of health programmes.
