In this work a technique for reconstructing digital 3D models from perspective sketches is introduced. The goal for the reconstruction process is to require little user interaction and no user knowledge about geometric modeling. With this assumptions such a system can provide an useful extension for digitalization of design concepts. In this work the sketches are decomposed in curves approximated by polygonal chains. Afterwards the curves are reconstructed in 3D to obtain a wireframe model. This is achieved in two steps.
