This master thesis deals with the hardware accelerated real-time simulation of droplet flows on surfaces. After introducing the basics of fluid mechanics, a concept and its implementation as an OpenSG application are presented that are able to simulate droplet flow on almost any surface of 3d-models. Droplets flow according to applied external forces and leave a trail of liquid. Different viscosities are considered as well as the contact angles of droplets that are placed on the surface. By using graphic shaders the simulation and display of droplet flow both run in real-time
