The design of a linear array of longitudinal-tapered slot antenna (LTSA) to be used as a sub-array element in a wideband electronic support measure (ESM) application has been presented. An antenna prototype has been built which exhibits good overall performance according to the measurement results. The bandwidth of the antenna exceeds the required specification and the design may well be transferred to other applications. Future work will include the fabrication of a larger number of elements of equal type for the construction of the antenna array. Also, an adoption of the antenna sub-array to a different, possibly lower frequency range is planned
