The Neolithic of the Balikh Valley, Northern Syria : A First Assessment

This article discusses in short the evidence for Neolithic occupation in the Balikh valley of northern Syria. Recent excavations and surveys in the region have yielded a wealth of new data, allowing a more detailed insight into cultural developments in this little known part of Syria.Cet article présente un aperçu des recherches récentes sur le Néolithique dans la vallée du Balikh (Svrie du Nord).
