Entwicklung eines Systems zur immersiven Arbeitssystemgestaltung mit CAD-Schnittstelle

Recently virtual reality systems become more important in the industry. Especially in the area of work system design there is a huge potential to solve the problems of a high effort for dynamic man model simulation or many iteration steps for layout design with the use of virtual reality technology. Therefore, in this thesis a new approach is chosen which enables to take through a complete planning workflow with one VR application. Therefore system requirements are presented. They consist of the user requirements and the technical requirements. The planning systematic represents a part to develop a VR planning process as well as additional functionality of a VR application. The core entities product, process and resources form another part for the system concept. An additional part considers the parallel data storage of work system components. For the development of the concept a special system architecture was set up. Based on that different VR modules and CAD modules were developed. The data model is realised by the extinction of consisting files by certain entities. The parallel data storage is developed to provide every work system component both as a VR file and as a CAD file. Through a VB server parameterised work system components can be changed and created with the immersive environment. A procedure was developed for raw layout planning to define stations, lines up to factory structures in raw measures. The fine layout planning was realised to detail layouts with library components. The idea to transmit the user's movements directly to the man model was used for ergonomic analysis. Additionally a positioning method was developed to move and rotate objects interactively. A project navigator was created to manage planning projects. Moreover a VR converter for the exchange of data was realised. The complete system was evaluated through user tests. First of all the test persons were introduced to the system. After that they carried out the tests and at last they evaluated the system. Altogether the tester rated the developed system positively
