BACKGROUND: Although there are studies on the theme of physical education and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) classes, the inclusion process, and its conception according to those who are directly involved in the reality of children with ASD sometimes seem distant.OBJECTIVE: The aim of this research is to verify the importance of Physical Education classes for children with ASD from the perception of their parents/guardians.METHODS: This is qualitative research of descriptive character.
