Scientists at Fraunhofer IESE [IESE09] perform research in engineering methods for future information systems. Concrete and real-world solutions are needed to evaluate these methods better. Consequently, the point-of-sale system CoCoME [CoCo09] was selected for performing research on workflow-based work. CoCoME is an existing trading system that was reused as basis of this demonstrator. The sale workflow of this system is an example of a model that is easy to understand for everybody. For this reason, the system is ideally suited for the evaluation of the demonstrator.
