In this work a consumption-optimized control strategy is developed for a hybrid vehicle. The electric machine of the hybrid vehicle is located at the not by the combustion engine driven axle. With the hybrid vehicle a temporary all-wheel-drive should be possible. The dimensioning of the hybrid components is taken for this purpose. The control strategy is developed for an existing simulation model. It is based on an analytical function, called cost function which determines the best operating point depending on respective driving situation. It is shown that also with such a hybrid vehicle it is possible to achive fuel savings compared to a conventional vehicle
