This book studies the characteristics and evolution of material culture during the Iron Age in Cantabria. Analysis of the entire material record of the archaeological sites from this period has been carried out. It characterises the material culture of the Early and Late Iron Age by analysing pottery production and identifying the moment of introduction of the potter´s wheel and iron metallurgy. Additionally, socioeconomic activities such as agriculture, livestock and trade are examined through archaeological data. Finally, data from unpublished campaigns carried out in the hillforts of Argüeso-Fontibre (Campoo de Suso) and Las Rabas (Campoo de Enmedio) have been included and issues of cave usage during this period is addressed.This book st...
