A pilot-line using a new and successful method for the up-scaled synthesis of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNT) capable of synthesizing kg / week of almost defect-free SWNT is presented. In addition, the same method allows the preferential synthesis of either semiconducting or metallic SWNT. The availability, selectivity and advanced processing conditions make this SWNT material very promising for application-targeted research and development
