Kontextadaptive Gedächtnisunterstützung in Alltagssituationen

The ambient awareness assistant with context sensitive adaptation provides a system that supports the users with sensors and actors corresponding to their age and needs. In the current state the prototype acts as an assistive system for elderly people. Activities of the daily personal hygiene are detected, documented and interpreted with specific sensors. Based upon this the system provides context sensitive commemorations to proceed through the user's personal hygiene. The primary goal of this development is to increase the inhabitant's independence and to allow elderly people to stay longer in their own homes in a self-determined way without the need of moving into rest homes. Documentations, assistances and handicapped accessibilities combined with multimedia-based functions not only cover the needs and demands of elderly inhabitants they also provide assistance to the whole family
