The Reform of Nationality Law, or the Formalization of a Political Turn. This article shows how professional lawyers played both a political and a jurdical role. Political because they participated both to the definition of a new direction in the conduct of nationality matters and to the legimation of these ideological thesis. Juridical because they contributed to the juricization of this Bill. Everything seems to point that the power of the lawyers was weak and subordinated to the politicians' will. Cet article s'attache à montrer que les professionnels du droit ont joué un rôle à la fois politique et juridique. Politique parce qu'ils ont participé à la fois à la définition d'un nouveau cap dans la conduite des affaires de nationalité et à la légitimation de ses thèses idéologiques. Juridique parce qu'ils ont contribué bien sûr à la juridicisation de la loi. Tout semble alors montrer que leur pouvoir de juristes a été faible et subordonné à la volonté des hommes politiques.
