Literature, digital humanities and the age of the encyclopaedia

In this presentation, I aim to discuss literature's renewed exposure to media and technology against the background of a similar discussion in 18th century which involved discourses on education, the position of rhetoric and the idea of the encyclopaedia. To show the relevance of this debate to digital humanities, I hack away at a recent novel published through Twitter, showing up the benefits of having a literary text within an rss-equiped environment.
