Education has an important role in the development of elementary school students, including emotional development. Dense demands and the large number of students in the classroom often make it difficult for teachers to understand the various emotions experienced by students. The purpose of this study is to increase teachers' understanding and insight in understanding and managing students' emotional development effectively. This type of research uses a literature study approach with a qualitative approach to explore emotional development in elementary school students. Data collection techniques are carried out through documentation studies by analyzing the content of documents relevant to the research topic. Data sources used include books and journals related to the study. The results showed that emotional development in elementary school students varied. With a good understanding, teachers can provide the right approach in shaping good emotional development for students
