PENGARUH METODE MIND MAPPING TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP SISWA PADA MATERI PERUBAHAN WUJUD BENDA KELAS V

The research is motivated by the low understanding of students concepts in terms of the percentage of ability on each indicator which is below 50% of each student class V. This research was conducted to find out whether there s an influence of the mind mapping method on students understanding of concepts and to find out how much students understanding conceptual class V has on the use of the mind mapping method in science subjects about changes in the from of objects. The method in this study used a quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control grup design. The population in this study class V at SDN Cangkringmalang II. The instrument used in this study was a three-tier multiple choice (TTMC) diagnostic test. Testing the analysis requirements for the normality test using the Kolmogorov smirno technique and homogeneity test. Testing the hypothesis in this study used the t-test and the results obtained were tcound > ttable (5,887 > 1,674) which means the hypothesis (Ha) in this study was accepted. Learning by using the mind mapping method can have an influence on students' understanding of the concept of material changes in class V objects at SDN Cangkringmalang II
