Electro vehicles have a significant potential as a manageable load in future energy systems. One of the critical key obstacles to make use of this potential is a common vehicle to grid control interface to enable the aggregation of the charging process for the energy management in the distribution grid. To discuss the recent standardization efforts of the joint working group between ISO and IEC the paper takes three perspectives.
