EDUCAÇÃO INTEGRAL: ENTRE O PASSADO E O FUTURO

Studies on the theme of full-time education have been increasing in the last years in Brazil, especially after the creation of the More Education Program that emerges from the debate on public policies, such as the “All for Education Commitment” which provided the implementation of full-time education in an extended journey. In this context, the article presents a reflection on theme from its comprehension as a concept to the complexity of the analysis of its configuration over time in its aspects regarding the journey extension and the nature of the configuration of the full-time public school in Brazil. A study was carried out, based on the bibliographical and documentary research in national databases which aims to highlight a debate on the adopted models, on divergences and similarities in the theoretical constructions about the theme. The present analysis aims to contribute to the understanding of how theoretical and political changes that have occurred have resulted in the implantation and implementation of full-time education in the Brazilian scenario. Recebido em: 15/12/2016.Aprovado em: 08/02/2017.No Brasil vem crescendo nos últimos anos os estudos sobre a temática da educação integral, especialmente após a criação do Programa Mais Educação que emerge no bojo do debate de políticas públicas como o “Compromisso Todos pela Educação” que previa a implementação da educação integral em jornadaampliada. Nesse contexto, o presente artigo apresenta uma reflexão sobre o tema, da sua compreensão como conceito à complexidade da análise de sua configuração ao longo do tempo em seus aspectos de ampliação da jornada e a natureza da configuração da escola pública de tempo integral no Brasil. Realizou-se um estudo, a partir da pesquisa bibliográfica e documental em bases de dados nacionais, em que se objetiva dar destaque a um debate a despeito dos modelos assumidos, sobre divergências e similitudes nas construções teóricas sobre o tema. A presente análise pretende contribuir para a compreensão sobre como ocorreram alterações teóricas e políticas que resultaram no avanço da implantação e implementação da educação integral no cenário brasileiro atualmente.
