EDUCAÇÃO INTEGRAL EM TEMPO INTEGRAL NO ESTADO DE SÃO PAULO: TENDÊNCIAS INTEGRAL

From a brief contextualization of integral education in Brazil, the text discusses conceptual issues about the integral and full-time education modalities in force in the public network of the State of São Paulo, focusing on the Integral School Program (ETI) and the Integral Education Program (PEI). Through a bibliographical, documentary and research study of the state school system in development, we analyzed the principles and viability of the Integral School Program (ETI) and the Integral Education Program (PEI), highlighting the conditions of the schools of the state network of education in São Paulo and the assumptions for the implementation of the respective programs. We consider that the expansion of the daily stay and the offer of multiple opportunities for multidimensional development of students represent a significant advance in public schooling in São Paulo. Recebido em: 12/11/2016.Aprovado em: 08/02/2017.A partir de breve contextualização da educação integral no Brasil, o texto discute questões conceituais sobre as modalidades de educação integral em tempo integral vigentes na rede pública do Estado de São Paulo, enfocando o programa Escola de Tempo Integral (ETI) e o Programa Ensino Integral (PEI). Mediante pesquisas bibliográfica, documental e investigação em escola da rede estadual de ensino em desenvolvimento, analisamos os princípios e a viabilidade do programa Escola de Tempo Integral (ETI) e do Programa Ensino Integral (PEI), destacando as condições das escolas da rede estadual de ensino paulista e os pressupostos para a implantação dos respectivos programas. Consideramos que a ampliação da jornada diária de permanência e a oferta de múltiplas oportunidades de desenvolvimento multidimensional dos educandos representam avanço significativo na escolarização pública paulista.
