El contexto externo e interno de la educación superior

In order to approach the knowledge of the internal and external context of higher education in Latin America, the research group began the analysis of internal and external variables, where, first of all, it is evident that access by the population to this educational level is restricted by aspects of quality and accessibility, in a timely manner there are variables that may influence the genesis of the problem; examples of these are demographic characteristics, age, gender, economic, technological, among others. These variables largely restrict the population's access to the economy, insertion into contemporary models, preparation for the labor market and participation in the business sector, thus restricting the scientific and technical development of Latin American countries. Continuing with the analysis, there are also internal variables that influence the qualification of graduates; the great diversity of the social, economic and political realities of the region, evidencing a great backwardness in human development, in addition to the deficient physical infrastructure and the few technological advances. In this same sense, there is precariousness in postgraduate training, the cause, the little contribution in the qualification of teachers and researchers in different disciplines, reflected in minimal scientific research developed in the region, compared to other economic and cultural blocs. Latin America faces a great challenge in the transformation of higher education and innovation of curricular programsPara aproximarnos al conocimiento del contexto interno y externo de la educación superior en América latina, el grupo de investigación inició el análisis de variables internas y externas, allí, primero que todo, se evidencia que el acceso por parte de la población a este nivel educativo está restringido por aspectos de calidad y accesibilidad, de manera puntual existen variables que pueden incidir en el génesis del problema; ejemplo de ellos están las características  demográficas, edad, género, económicas, tecnológicas entre otras. Las variables en gran medida restringen el acceso de la población a la economía, la inserción hacia los modelos contemporáneos; preparación para el mundo laboral y participación en el sector empresarial, por ende, restricción al desarrollo científico y técnico de los países de América Latina. Continuando con el análisis, también, existen variables internas que influyen en la cualificación de los graduados; la gran diversidad de las realidades sociales, económicas y políticas de la región, evidenciándose un gran atraso en desarrollo humano, además, la infraestructura física deficiente y los pocos avances tecnológicos. En este mismo sentido, hay precariedad en la formación de posgrados, la causa, el poco aporte en la cualificación de docentes e investigadores en diferentes disciplinas, reflejado en mínimas investigaciones científicas desarrolladas en la región, comparadas con otros bloques económicos y culturales. Para América Latina existe un gran reto frente a la transformación de la educación superior e innovación de los programas curriculares.&nbsp
