La Importancia del Aprendizaje Socioemocional para el éxito Académico y la Vida en general

Social and emotional learning is a fundamental aspect in the integral development of students. The implementation of emotional education and social and emotional learning programs in the educational setting significantly contributes to the emotional well-being and academic success of students. In this study, a systematic review of articles published in Scopus, Scielo, and Latindex in the last 5 years, both in Spanish and English, was conducted to identify the main findings on the impact of social and emotional learning in the educational setting. A total of 20 review articles and 10 original articles were identified in Scopus, 6 review articles and 5 original articles in Scielo, and 7 review articles and 4 original articles in Latindex. Results show that the implementation of social and emotional learning in the educational setting positively contributes to the socio-emotional and academic well-being of students. Additionally, there is a need to train teachers in emotional education and social and emotional learning to improve the educational quality and socio-emotional well-being of students.El aprendizaje socioemocional es un aspecto fundamental en el desarrollo integral de los estudiantes. La implementación de programas de educación emocional y aprendizaje socioemocional en el ámbito educativo contribuye significativamente al bienestar emocional y al éxito académico de los mismos. En este trabajo se realizó una revisión sistemática de artículos publicados en Scopus, Scielo y Latindex en los últimos 5 años, tanto en español como en inglés, para identificar los principales hallazgos sobre el impacto del aprendizaje socioemocional en el ámbito educativo. Se identificaron 20 artículos de revisión y 10 artículos originales en Scopus, 6 artículos de revisión y 5 artículos originales en Scielo, y 7 artículos de revisión y 4 artículos originales en Latindex. Los resultados muestran que la implementación del aprendizaje socioemocional en el ámbito educativo contribuye positivamente al bienestar socioemocional y académico de los estudiantes. Además, se evidencia la necesidad de formar a los docentes en educación emocional y aprendizaje socioemocional para mejorar la calidad educativa y el bienestar socioemocional de los estudiante
