PENGARUH PERMAINAN TRADISIONAL PASAR-PASARAN TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI PERKALIAN

Abstract.The concept of multiplication is an abstract things, so it is not easy for elementary school students to understand it optimally without familiar context and visual aids. Related to this, a game is implemented that collaborates contextual approaches, cooperative learning, and meaningful learning through the application of traditional market games. In this game students act as sellers and buyers who directly apply the multiplication concept in simulating buying and selling transactions. This research will answer the problem of how to achieve student learning outcomes in the multiplication problem after implementing the traditional market games in fourth-grade students, besides that this research will answer the problem of whether the application of the traditional market games has a significant effect on student learning outcomes in fourth-grade students. This study uses a pre-experimental research method with the design of "the one shot case study". The population in this study is the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at an elementary school located in Banda Aceh with a sample of one class consisting of 30 students. Retrieval of data using instruments such as test questions in the form of essay. Data were processed through statistical analysis paired sample t-test. The results of this study concluded that the application of traditional market games had a significant effect on student learning outcomes in the material for integer multiplication arithmetic operations, besides that the average score for achieving student learning outcomes was above the school's minimum average score limit. Konsep perkalian merupakan konsep yang bersifat abstrak, sehingga tidak mudah bagi siswa sekolah dasar untuk memahami secara optimal tanpa adanya bantuan konteks dan alat peraga yang familiar. Terkait dengan hal itu, maka diterapkan suatu permainan yang mengkolaborasikan pendekatan kontekstual, pembelajaran kooperatif, dan pembelajaran bermakna dengan melalui penerapan permainan tradisional pasar-pasaran. Dalam permainan ini siswa berperan sebagai penjual dan pembeli yang secara langsung menerapkan konsep perkalian dalam melakukan simulasi transaksi jual beli. Penelitian ini mengangkat masalah tentang bagaiman pencapaian hasil belajar siswa pada materi perkalian setelah dilakukannya penerapan permainan tradisional pasar-pasaran di kelas IV SD, kemudian apakah penerapan permainan tradisional pasar-pasaran berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa di kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pre-eksperimen dengan desain “the one shot case study”. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar siswa kelas IV di salah satu SD yang berlokasi di Banda Aceh dengan sampelnya satu kelas yang terdiri dari 30 siswa. Pengambilan data menggunakan instrumen berupa tes dalam bentuk soal uraian (essay). Data diolah melalui analisis statistik paired sample t-test. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa penerapan permainan tradisional pasar-pasaran berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi operasi hitung perkalian bilangan bulat, selain itu skor rata-rata pencapain hasil belajar siswa berada diatas batas skor rata-rata minimum sekolah Kata Kunci: Permainan Tradisional Pasar-Pasaran, Hasil Belajar, Perkalian bilangan bula
