International audienceSerious illness in children, such as cancer, generates intense stress in parents, which can lead to anxiety and depressive disorders. This chapter proposes to question the problem of maternal stress in the specific case of paediatric brain tumours on the basis of French research carried out in 2019, thanks to a French validation of the "Pediatric Inventory for Parents" (PIP). The results, which highlighted maternal concerns about the child's future schooling, the child's schooling experience and, more generally, re-schooling in the event of a brain tumour, are investigated through a synthesis of articles on the interventions and stakeholders involved in school reintegration.
