Hubungan Kepatuhan Penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri Dengan Kejadian Kecelakaan Kerja Di Depo Lokomotif PT KAI Divre Medan

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a device used by workers to protect themselves from potential hazards and work accidents that may occur in the workplace. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between adherence to the use of PPE and the incidence of work accidents among workers at the Locomotive Depot PT KAI Divre Medan. This study used a quantitative research design using a correlational descriptive method with a cross sectional approach. The population is all workers at the Locomotive Depot of PT KAI Divre Medan. The results of this study showed that 28 people (61%) were non-compliant with using PPE, while 31 people (67%) had experienced work accidents. Statistical tests using the Chi Square Test show that there is a significant relationship between adherence to the use of PPE and the incidence of work accidents (value ? = 0.008). It is hoped that the company will provide a warning or strict sanctions for workers who do not comply with regulations to use PPE.Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) merupakan suatu perangkat yang digunakan oleh pekerja demi melindungi dirinya dari potensi bahaya serta kecelakaan kerja yang kemungkinan dapat terjadi di tempat kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepatuhan penggunaan APD dengan kejadian kecelakaan kerja pada pekerja Di Depo Lokomotif PT KAI Divre Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan metode deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasinya adalah seleruh pekerja Depo Lokomotif PT KAI Divre Medan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan reponden yang tidak patuh menggunakan APD sebanyak 28 orang (61%), Sedangkan responden yang pernah mengalami kecelakaan kerja sebanyak 31 orang (67%). Uji statistic menggunakan Chi Square Test menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan signifikan antara kepatuhan penggunaan APD dengan kejadian kecelakaan kerja (nilai ( = 0,008). Diharapkan bagi perusahaan untuk memberikan peringatan ataupun sanksi yang tegas bagi pekerja yang tidak patuh terhadap peraturan untuk menggunakan APD
