The purpose of this experiment was to study the implicit activities of structuration which growth during the free recall learning of a list constituted by 20 significative words. It pursues a work on the relations between time, structuration and number of correct responses during free recall verbal learning (Ehrlich 1966 b). The following hypothesis were tested : — the intervention of an instruction which insists on the efficiency of the clustering implicit activities, facilitates the structuration process and leads to a learning faster ; — when implicit activity becomes explicit, the structuration process is easier ; — the structuration process is delayed when the subjecls are obliged to engage in an explicit activity incompatible wi...
