The present article deals with an investigation of standard driving cycles to identify the influence of consumption and driving range for electric vehicles. Aim of this work is to figure out if standard driving cycles are suitable for determining consumption of electric vehicles. Core of this item is the calculation of energy vehicles by considering auxiliary equipment in summer- and winter months. The result is a loss of driving range specified by the manufacturer and evaluated by standard driving cycles
