Divorce is a reality for many American Muslim families, yet it is still considered taboo in the American Muslim community. Due to the lack of data on divorce in Muslim communities, the conversations on this topic are missing empirical research. Despite marriage being a well-researched topic, some populations have significant gaps in divorce literature for Muslim Americans.
