Recent advances in interpreting technologies are increasingly attracting researchers and practitioners, which has rose after the restrictions from COVID-19. Although interpreters have not traditionally benefited from technological advances compared to translators (Costa et al., 2018), the remote interpreting market had a turning point in March 2020 and since then, has undergone a major evolution and transformation.
