ABSTRACT One of the causes of newborn death is Low Birth Weight Babies (LBW). Babies are said to have low birth weight if their weight is less than 2,500 grams or 2.5 kilograms (kg). Babies weighing less than 2,500 grams are prone to health problems or even death at birth. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Kangaroo Method of Treatment on Heart Rate Stability in LBW.
