This article analyses the evolution of the contemporary Corsican nationalist movement. It gathers background information about its birth and rise and it describes its recent and unprecedented electoral and institutional success in the 2010s. It then offers cautious elements of interpretation that aim at assessing the relevance of this particular phase in the history of a too often neglected theme
