Corps, pouvoir, écriture dans deux romans africains

N. Martin-Granel—Body, Power, Writing in Two African Novels. Two a priori quite different novels have overlapping configurations of an axiological System with three dimensions: body/power/writing. On the basis of an ago-nistic paradigm, these novels interweave various parameters (opaque/transparent, plural/solitary, corporeal/immaterial) so as to suggest that antagonists are fighting at the same level (of desire) destined to animal metamorphoses and saturated with repetitions. Torture and anonymity, vampirism and revenance exchange power over life and death. Finally, obscene or secret, topographical or pornographie, stained blood red or ink black, writing achieves to sow confusion among modernist and backward-looking ideologies. Passing between the straits of novel that is a document or a monument, literary anthropology is seeking to join, with a dotted diagonal line, what is already "symbolic interpretation" in the novel's discourse in the north, as in the center of Africa.Martin-Granel Nicolas.
