This report was commissioned by the Coventry and Warwickshire Connexions Strategic Partnership to help identify the overall effectiveness of the local Connexions pilot project. The Coventry and Warwickshire sub-region is one of 16 pilot areas for the new Connexions service. The pilot is designed to trial new ways of working in local communities and focuses on the work of Personal Advisers (PAs) in educational institutions and in community settings with partner organisations. Within this context, research and evaluation play a crucial role in helping to assess the impact of the Connexions Strategy on the local community and in supporting policy-makers and practitioners to determine what works and why.
