Research is being developed with a view to creating subsidies that help in the training of future mathematics teachers, so that they have practices that help to improve their classes, making them more attractive to the students. In this context, the History of Mathematics emerges, which has been providing resources to be applied to undergraduates, promoting an interface between history and teaching Mathematics. Thus, this article aims to discuss the simple and inverse rule of three expounded in Līlavātī, by Bhāskarācārya, with didactic considerations of these concepts, relating them to the BNCC of the final years of elementary school.
