Solid electrolytes for Li-ion batteries offer large potential to obtain safe batteries and avoid internal short cuts as also high thermal stability. Suitable compositions are offered in the Li1+xAlxTi 2-x(PO4)3-system. Within this study glasses with varying TiO2 to Li2O and Al2O3 ratios were molten and crystallised by selected heat treatments and characterised. The crystalline phases are lithium analogues of the NaSICON-Structure. Impedance spectroscopic measurements were carried out for determining ionic conductivities with respect to the chemical compositions, crystallising conditions and temperature.
