We have all heard stories about the great and powerful Amazon Warriors, a tribe of women skilled in warfare and lived in a man-less society. Their stories range from being featured in Homer’s Iliad to their possible involvement with Alexander the Great. Word of their military prowess was spread all across the world, in a time where much of historical documentation was mixed with historical fiction. Because of this, many have debated whether or not they were ever even real and for a long time it remained a popular opinion that these women were merely mythological characters as there was no evidence of an actual civilization resembling the one we hear of in these tales.
