In this study, pre-ceramic polymers were used as organic vehicle forming a ceramic matrix after pyrolysis. Carbon short-fibers were chosen as fiber materials. For improving the processing properties of the used pre-ceramic polymer it was blended with thermoplastic waxes and process additives. The CMC (Ceramic Matrix Composite) is formed by pyrolysis of the polysilazane precursor with an amorphous Si-C-N network as the matrix for the short-fibers. Simulation of injection molding processes was used as tool for predicting the form filling of test molds and for supporting future development and construction of molds. The obtained results are verified with the help of real parts. In fiber reinforced parts the fiber distribution and alignment aff...
