International audienceContext. The combination of home blood pressure monitoring (HBPM) and drug self-titration (DST) improves blood pressure control by empowering patients. Still little used in France, the opinions of French patients and general practitioners (GPs) on this intervention were not known.Objective. To explore patients' and GPs' barriers and levers to combine HBPM and DST in the management of hypertension.Method. Qualitative study using a global inductive analysis approach. Semi-directed individual interviews of GPs and patients with hypertension using HBPM in Auvergne.
